Pray for those in Positions of Authority

  • For credible and responsible party policy position and communication thereof, re debt/interest rates, population/immigration/border control, climate change, education, defence/foreign policy
  • U.S. Army leadership in Afghanistan; allied strategy there

The Church, Local and General

 

  • For a 'mission mindset' as we look to our second 100 years,
  • Thanks for the Pupil-Free Day at St Martins (July 19) ;for SRE teachers
  •  Good judgment and wisdom re Ethics Classes for those not in Scripture
    For the meeting of our financial needs

Pray for the Community

 

  • For indigenous individuals and communities; for the homeless
  • Wise responses to data on climate change, genetics and Naplan testing
  • Role models in public life

Pray for those in particular need of God's grace

  • Political stability in Iraq, PNG,  anti-terrorism authorities, Gulf of Mexico clean-up
  • Our armed forces on active deployment; other influences for good in Afghanistan
  • The bereaved (see pew leaflet for details)
  • Those unwell, in hospital or recovering (see pew leaflet for details) Those in Nursing Homes and Retirement Villages
  • Thanks for casserole ministry
  • Families in turmoil, stress or having to make decisions about health and lifestyle
